Haedal airdrop status in 2026
The original HAEDAL airdrop is over. Haedal launched its governance token on 21 May 2025, ending the “potential airdrop” phase described in the original guide. The protocol's genesis claim interface stated that allocations were valid for 90 days from the token-generation event and that expired allocations would return to the liquidity fund. That one-time claim period therefore ended in August 2025.
Separately, Binance distributed 30 million HAEDAL—3% of the one-billion-token supply—through its 19th HODLer Airdrop. Eligibility was based on retroactive BNB Simple Earn or On-Chain Yields balances from 10–13 May 2025, and Binance credited eligible spot accounts before trading opened. It is not an open claim and staking SUI or WAL now cannot make an account retroactively eligible.

Can you still qualify for a HAEDAL airdrop?
There is no verified open HAEDAL airdrop that can be farmed using the three steps in the 2025 article. Haedal continues to operate liquid staking, farms, liquidity products and veHAEDAL, but those products should be used for their documented functions—not on an assumption that they guarantee another token distribution.
Haedal's veHAEDAL documentation mentions possible future airdrops and privileges, but it does not define a current allocation, snapshot or reward amount. Locking HAEDAL for veHAEDAL is an on-chain commitment of 1 to 52 weeks; the position's voting weight decays toward zero until expiry. Do not lock tokens solely for an unspecified future reward.
If Haedal announces another campaign, verify it through haedal.xyz, its linked documentation and the project's official X account. An unsolicited “late claim,” “airdrop extension” or wallet-recovery page should be treated as phishing.
What is HAEDAL used for?
HAEDAL is the protocol's governance and incentive token. Users can lock it for veHAEDAL, which the project documents as providing governance voting power, weekly rewards and boosts in supported Haedal farms. A maximum 52-week lock initially produces one veHAEDAL per HAEDAL; shorter locks receive proportionally less voting weight, and veHAEDAL decays linearly until the lock expires.
The official allocation is 55% ecosystem incentives, 10% liquidity fund, 15% investors and 20% team and advisers. Investor tokens had a six-month lock followed by 12-month linear vesting; team and adviser tokens had a 12-month lock followed by 24-month linear vesting. In 2026, both schedules can affect circulating supply, so users should check the project's current release chart rather than relying on the launch-day circulation figure.
HAEDAL is different from haSUI and haWAL
- HAEDAL is the governance and incentive token.
- haSUI is a liquid-staking receipt minted when a user stakes SUI through Haedal. Staking rewards accrue through its conversion rate against SUI rather than as a separate HAEDAL airdrop.
- haWAL is the corresponding liquid-staking token for staked WAL.
Regular haSUI unstaking has a documented wait of one to two Sui epochs. Regular haWAL unstaking also takes one to two Walrus epochs, and a Walrus epoch is currently 14 days. Haedal documents an instant-unstake route for both assets with a 0.02% fee, subject to available capacity. The exchange value of an LST can also diverge from its protocol redemption value on secondary markets.
Risks before using Haedal
- Smart-contract risk: audits reduce some implementation risk but do not guarantee that contracts, dependencies or later upgrades are safe.
- Validator and protocol risk: liquid-staking returns depend on validator performance, protocol rules and Sui or Walrus network operation.
- Liquidity risk: selling haSUI or haWAL on a DEX may produce a different result from waiting for native redemption.
- Composability risk: depositing a liquid-staking token into another DeFi protocol adds the risks of that protocol, pool and oracle.
- Lockup risk: HAEDAL locked for veHAEDAL cannot be treated as immediately liquid merely because its voting weight is visible.
- Phishing risk: the historical airdrop provides a convincing story for fake claim sites. Confirm the full domain and coin type before signing.
Corrections to the original 2025 guide
- HAEDAL is no longer a potential token: it launched on 21 May 2025.
- The original claim window has expired, and the Binance HODLer distribution was completed.
- Staking SUI or WAL today does not qualify a wallet for the historical distributions.
- haSUI and haWAL are liquid-staking receipt tokens, not the HAEDAL governance token or an airdrop reward.
- The waiting period differs materially by asset: one to two Walrus epochs can mean roughly 14–28 days under the currently documented epoch length.
Original 10 April 2025 guide (historical archive)
The original guide is preserved substantially as published. Its speculative airdrop language and participation steps were written before HAEDAL launched and should not be followed as a current claim guide.
Haedal is a liquid staking system built on the Sui blockchain, allowing users to stake SUI tokens while still using their liquid staking token, haSUI, to earn more through DeFi activities, combining staking and yield strategies for better efficiency. Their staking program rewards users with haSUI tokens and could have a token airdrop in the future! Here is our Haedal token airdrop guide.
What is Haedal?
Haedal is a liquid staking protocol built on the Sui blockchain, enabling users to stake their SUI tokens while maintaining liquidity through its liquid staking token, haSUI. It combines staking rewards with algorithmic DeFi yield strategies to maximize capital efficiency and user accessibility.
Haedal has raised funds through a seed round, with notable investors including Hashed, Comma3 Ventures, OKX Ventures, Animoca Ventures, Sui Foundation, and others. The funds are being used to enhance its liquid staking infrastructure and expand its ecosystem.
How to get the Haedal token airdrop?
- Connect to Haedal Connect your wallet to https://www.haedal.xyz/stake
- Stake SUI or WAL tokens You can choose between staking SUI or WAL tokens. This will allow you to earn yield in haSUI or haWAL tokens respectively. Note there is a delay if you unstake your assets.
- Stay updated Follow Haedal on their social media channels such as X or Discord so you do not miss out on any news or upcoming rewards campaigns.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Haedal airdrop still active?
No. HAEDAL launched on 21 May 2025, and Haedal's genesis allocation was claimable for 90 days from the token-generation event. The historical Binance HODLer Airdrop was also distributed in May 2025.
Can I still claim the HAEDAL airdrop?
The original community claim period has expired. Haedal's interface said expired allocations would return to the liquidity fund. Do not connect to a third-party site promising a late or reopened claim.
When did the HAEDAL token launch?
HAEDAL launched and began Binance spot trading on 21 May 2025. This replaced the pre-launch “potential airdrop” status in the original article.
What is the official HAEDAL coin address?
The official Sui coin type is 0x3a304c7feba2d819ea57c3542d68439ca2c386ba02159c740f7b406e592c62ea::haedal::HAEDAL. Verify it against Haedal's current documentation before importing or transferring a token.
How many HAEDAL tokens exist?
Haedal documents a fixed total supply of one billion HAEDAL. Its allocation is 55% ecosystem incentives, 10% liquidity fund, 15% investors and 20% team and advisers.
How did the Binance HAEDAL airdrop work?
Binance allocated 30 million HAEDAL to users whose BNB was subscribed to eligible Simple Earn or On-Chain Yields products during 10–13 May 2025. It was retroactive and automatically credited to eligible spot accounts, not an open wallet claim.
Does staking SUI now earn a HAEDAL airdrop?
No current guaranteed airdrop is documented. Staking SUI through Haedal mints haSUI, whose redemption value accrues SUI staking rewards. It should not be confused with an entitlement to HAEDAL.
What is the difference between HAEDAL and haSUI?
HAEDAL is the protocol's governance and incentive token. haSUI is a liquid-staking receipt representing SUI staked through Haedal plus accrued staking value.
How long does Haedal unstaking take?
Regular haSUI redemption takes one to two Sui epochs. Regular haWAL redemption takes one to two Walrus epochs; the documentation currently describes each Walrus epoch as 14 days. Instant unstaking may be available for a 0.02% fee and can be capacity-limited.
What is veHAEDAL?
veHAEDAL is obtained by locking HAEDAL for 1 to 52 weeks. It provides governance weight and documented reward or farm-boost functions, then decays linearly as the lock approaches expiry. It is not a separate freely transferable airdrop token.
